Kate Thomas is a milliner and founder of of thomas.york millinery. She trained at Leeds College of Art and latterly at Morley College in London gaining the HNC in Millinery Design. 

Kate creates hats and headpieces in luxury materials and specialises in surface manipulation techniques in fabrics and ribbon work.  

Her pieces are timeless and classic with a unique twist and many designs suit all genders.

Catering for special occasion as well as everyday chic her hats turn heads and invite connection.  They are investment pieces designed to be worn many times.

The studio sits above the cobbled streets in the centre of the medieval city of York where everything is hand made using traditional skills and sustainable practices.
